Highland Community College in Northwestern Illinois applies their 3DP printer to many facets of classroom instruction and community outreach. Within the classroom, HCC offers 3D printing courses through their lifelong learning program. Manufacturing students also utilize the 3D printer to build prototypes and convert 2D objects seen in textbooks into 3D representations, helping them to better visualize their project details.
