3D Platform HFA Extruders Deliver High Quality 3D Prints, Faster

Introducing the fastest filament extruders on the market with continuous duty cycles and maximum print speed.

Roscoe, Illinois, USA – April 20, 2017 – 3D Platform (3DP), www.3dplatform.com, a global leader in manufacturing large-format, industrial-strength 3D machines, has produced a High Flow Air Cooled (HFA) extruder that is the first in a new line of high-performance, high-speed extruders that are faster than anything available on the market. This new line of HFAs:

  • Produce maximum output with high reliability.
  • Feature a gear reduction transmission that prevents filament stripping and slipping.
  • Print layer resolutions down to 50 microns.
  • Come standard with the 3DP 300 Series WorkbenchPro (https://3dplatform.com/workseries) and as an available upgrade option with the 100 Series WorkTable and 200 Series WorkbenchClassic.
  • Feature nozzle sizes of:
    • .4 mm (minimum).
    • .6 mm (standard).
    • 5 mm (maximum).
  • Provide continuous duty cycle for commercial digital manufacturing environments.
HFA Extruders

“Our new line of quick-swap dual extruder heads deliver high quality 3D prints and are independently controlled for speed and extruded material amounts,” says Jonathan Schroeder, President of 3D Platform. “They are the fastest filament extruders on the market, and can accommodate filament sizes from 1.75 mm to 3 mm and nozzle sizes from .2 mm to 2.5 mm.”

Take a closer look of the new line of 3DP extruders at our booth #937 throughout the RAPID show, May 8-11 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
